Enjoying country-western dancing since 1986…
Northern Virginia Country-Western Dance Association (NVCWDA) was founded in 1986. Our main goal is to promote and enjoy country-western dancing. Twice a month we hold dances in the local community. The dances are open to the public.
We are a membership organization managed by a Board of Directors that meet bimonthly. Some members of the NVCWDA are part a demonstration Dance Team that performs at various venues throughout the year as part of our community service. We have raised thousands of dollars for groups such as Fisher House, Toys for Tots, Children’s National Medical Center, Fairfax County’s Medical Care for Children Partnership, and Homestretch.
NVCWDA is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
