Country by the Bay at the American Legion Post in Chesapeake Beach, MD is coming back! The next dance will be Saturday, October 10 . The format will be pretty much the same as before, but the number of people will be limited. The Legion will screen you for COVID and take your temperature at the door. You must wear a mask while dancing and moving around the room. Linda & Rich will teach a line dance at 7 pm and a couples dance at 7:30 pm. The Southern Winds Band will play from 8–11:30 pm. A $15 cover includes dance lessons, draft beer, soda, and snacks, as well as 3-1/2 hours of open dancing. The hardwood floor is the biggest in the area and is easy on the feet and legs. Due to the limited number of attendees allowed, RESERVATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL. Walk-ins take the chance of not getting in. For more details go to Linda Bloyer’s blog.
